La La Workforce Development

Empowering Foster Youth for the Future

The LaLa Workforce Development Program is our cornerstone initiative, designed to support foster youth ages 17–25 who are preparing to, or have recently, transitioned out of the foster care system. This stage of life can be filled with uncertainty, and our commitment is to stand alongside these young adults as a catalyst for growth and transformation.

Our holistic approach addresses both personal and professional development, equipping participants with the tools, skills, and resources they need to thrive. By combining hands-on experience, mentorship, and wraparound support, we create a path toward independence and lasting success.

Program Benefits

  • Paid 12-Week Internship – Practical, meaningful work experience.
  • Mentorship – Guidance from leaders who invest in their journey.
  • Self-Paced Professional & Personal Development Course – Weekly lessons tailored to real-life skills.

  • College & Career Planning Support – Helping participants design their future with confidence.
  • Housing Resources – Access to community resources that help alleviate housing insecurity.

Together, these elements form more than a program — they create a foundation for resilience, opportunity, and hope.
